Product description
A screw conveyor is a continuous conveying equipment that uses rotating spiral blades to push materials. It has the advantages of compact structure, good sealing performance, and simple operation. It is suitable for conveying powdery, granular, and small block materials in horizontal, inclined, or vertical directions, and is widely used in industries such as grain, chemical, building materials, and metallurgy. This equipment is usually composed of components such as a drive unit, screw shaft, trough body, and inlet and outlet ports. It can be flexibly arranged according to process requirements, facilitating multi-point loading and unloading, and is an important conveying machinery for achieving process automation.
 
Working principle
The working principle of the screw conveyor is "forced advancement". The interaction force generated between the rotating screw blades and the materials overcomes the internal friction of the materials and the external friction with the slot walls, causing the materials to move continuously forward along the axial direction of the screw, just like a non-rotating nut moving along the screw. This enables continuous and directional transportation within the sealed tank.
